Product Description
Unscreened connector system is a right angled adapter designed to fit over standard MV cable terminations when used with equipment bushings to Type C according to EN 50180 and EN 50181.
This insulating adapter RUJT-1 (630 A) is for the connection on outer cone bushings Type C according to EN-50181. It is compatible with cable terminations and can be used to connect paper or plastic insulated or has one or three cores. The insulated adapter termination system provides perfect sealing, electrical insulation and an electrical connection between the cable terminations and SF6-insulated switchgear up to 24 kV. The compact design of the adapters and their clear cut profiles simplify installation. The electrical connection with the aid of a stud renders additional fastening systems unnecessary. The adapters are watertight and can operate under extreme environmental conditions with severe pollution.
The boot can be easily disconnected for testing and then reconnected with standard tooling under dead break conditions. The body is made from Silicon rubber based material with excellent antitracking properties. The body and termination are not screened and therefore during operation the surfaces will be considered live and must not be touched.
For Voltage Range 6/10(12)kV up to 8.7/15(17.5)kV
For connection to C type bushings according to EN 50180 and EN 50181
One size is suitable for all cable types from 70 - 300mm2
